Omaha Police say 2 people were hurt in a shooting that took place early Saturday morning at Crown Point Ave.
At around 2:01 a.m. Officers were called to the Scandinavian Hall in the 7500 block of Crown Point Ave.
When officers arrived to the scene, they made contact with a victim who was working security at the time of the shooting.
According to OPD, the victim was working outside the building when he heard several shots and realized he had been struck.
He was transported to Nebraska Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
According to OPD, while officers were still at the original shooting scene, a second victim arrived at Immanual Hospital.
OPD officials say the second victim stated he was outside a club in the area when he heard shots and realized he had been struck.
A third party transported him to the hospital where he received treatment for his non-life-threatening injuries.
The victims were identified as 27-year-old Edward Worlds and 21-year-old Donvelle Davis.
OPD says this is an ongoing investigation.
