OPD asking for video evidence of crimes during protests

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Omaha Police Department is asking for help in their investigation into incidents that occurred during recent protests.

The incidents include "damage to vehicles and businesses, assaults, and other crimes"

OPD says many of the crimes were recorded and is asking anyone who did so to contact the following departments:

  • Burglary (402) 444-5657
  • Auto Theft (402) 444-5590
  • Assault (402) 444-5607
