An Omaha police cruiser was damaged in an accident this morning in Southwest Omaha.
Police say Officer Robert Alexander's cruiser was hit in the intersection of 120th & L as he was responding to a residential burglary call. Investigators say Alexander had the cruiser's emergency lights on at the time.
Alexander went to Nebraska Medicine in another police vehicle for treatment of minor injuries. The driver of the other car was taken to CHI Bergan Mercy for treatment of minor injuries caused by the airbag deployment.
