Omaha Police said 24-year-old Bernard Brame of Council Bluffs died in an overnight crash at Keystone and Blondo streets around 2:20a.m Sunday morning.
OPD said witnesses stated that a silver 2010 Kia Forte was eastbound on Blondo at a high rate of speed when it lost control and said the Kia crossed westbound lanes of Blondo, left the roadway and struck a wooden power pole in front of 8518 Blondo.
According to OPD the Kia then damaged a fence and a parked Ford pickup in the parking lot of 8518 Blondo. The unrestrained driver was ejected through the windshield of the Kia. OFD Medics declared the driver deceased at the scene.
Speed is considered a factor in this crash.
