Investigators say they have busted a drug ring responsible for meth and crack cocaine in the Omaha metro.
Warrants were issued for 11 people as part of Operation Red Rising.
“The suspects in Operation Ride Rising are involved in the transportation, manufacturing and distribution of methamphetamine and crack cocaine in the Omaha area,” the Omaha Police Department said in a statement Thursday.
Other agencies, the FBI and officers from state and local law enforcement, were involved in the investigation which stemmed from information gathered by a bank robbery task force last year.
Police said eight suspects were arrested Thursday morning, though two suspects, Qwinton Henderson and James Jones, are still at large. One was already in custody.
