OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The morning thunderstorms have caused over 4,000 OPPD customers to be without power.
OPPD personnel are seeing damage to equipment due to fallen tree limbs on power lines.
The National Weather Service is forecasting continued storms throughout the day today, including the potential for more hail, damaging winds and heavy rain. The additional threat also raises the chances of flash flooding on area rivers and streams.
