Two pedestrians went to the hospital after being hit by vehicles in two separate incidents Thursday.
The most recent occurred Thursday night at around 8:30 when paramedics rushed a pedestrian to the hospital after he or she was hit by a car. Police did not identify the pedestrian, but he or she went to the hospital in serious condition, possibly with a broken leg.
Earlier in the day, a 79-year-old man died in the hospital after being hit by a car near 34th and L in the morning.
