Omaha Police are investigating a pair of sexual assaults that they believe are related.

The first one happened just after one on Sunday April 3rd near 37th and Jackson. A 25 year old woman told officers who responded to a disturbance call that she was knocked down by a man who put his hand down her pants and up the front of her shirt. She screamed and fought the suspect. Another resident of the building heard the woman's screams for help and yelled at the suspect, who than ran away.

The second happened just before midnight on Tuesday outside Heider Hall at Creighton University. A 19 year old woman told police she was grabbed from behind and forced to the ground. The suspect also put his hand down the woman's pants and up the front of her shirt. The suspect ran off after someone came out of the building to investigate the disturbance.

Detectives released a surveillance photo of  the suspect.  They believe the attacks are related due to the similar description of the suspect the victims provided as well as the suspect's actions during the assaults.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Special Victims Unit at 402-444-5636
