A police chase that started in Council Bluffs ended in Southwest Omaha tonight.
Police say the driver hit a cruiser in the Best Buy parking lot just south of the I-80/I-29 Lake Manawa split in Council Bluffs.
Council Bluffs police followed the driver on I-80 into Omaha. The suspect exited at 42nd Street and headed west.
Officers put down stop sticks around 8:10 p.m. That caused the vehicle to stop. Police then took the driver into custody near 102nd and L Street.
