Omaha Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in a Monday night crash with a pickup.
Officers say the crash happened around 7:00 when the driver of a pickup ran a stop sign and crashed into the motorcycle.
The impact knocked the motorcycle into another pickup that was parked nearby, and both caught fire.
Police say 48-year-old Daniel McDonald of Omaha was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, 49-year-old Patricia McDonald was taken to a hospital. She is in serious condition.
The pickup driver 34-year-old Joseph Madej was arrested on suspicion of vehicular homicide. He was not injured.
