Police say two teenagers, ages 14 and 16, were caught after they damaged offices inside TD Ameritrade Park in downtown Omaha overnight.
The teens, who are not being identified because of their age, broke into the baseball park and caused an estimated $200,000 in damage, according to police.
They were even wearing jerseys, investigators said.
The Metropolitan Entertainment and Convention Authority released the following statement:
"MECA is currently working with the Omaha Police Department to assess vandalism that occurred late last night (January 13, 2016) inside TD Ameritrade Park Omaha. Our security footage shows two teens entered the baseball stadium around 10 p.m. by jumping the fence near Gate 4. Police were called a short time later.
The individuals were able to make it to the Suite level where most of the damage is contained. Furniture was turned over and televisions and other items were broken. It does not appear that there was any structural damage or damage to the field. A dollar estimate on the damage has not yet been determined."
