While the Groundhog Day storm produced snowfall in the KMTV viewing area early Tuesday morning, a little bit more is expected in the afternoon and evening.

Snowfall measurements vary across eastern Nebraska and western Iowa.

NWS preliminary local storm reports:

12:30 p.m.

5 inches, near Woodbine in Harrison County

6 inches, Offutt Air Force Base in Sarpy County

Noon

12 inches, near Norfolk in Madison County

6.2 inches, near Valley in Douglas County

4.3 inches at Omaha’s Eppley Airfield

6 inches, near Tekahma in Burt County

6 inches, near Lincoln in Lancaster County
