Tara Evans attended the president's remarks at the University of Nebraska Omaha's Baxter Arena wearing a handmade Obama-themed jacket.
She called it her "Obama gear" as she showed off the design.
"I'm a quilter and I quilt with the library up north with community quilting center, and we make Obama quilts and we make everything, so I had to sport my gear," Evans said.
She said she was there to hear him talk about the economy and it's improvement.
"I want him to just talk about the economy has changed. Gas is under $2. You know, things have really picked up. The unemployment is down like, by two point some percent. Things are getting better," she said.
