Friends and family of the two men killed in a crash after a concrete truck tipped over say the men were good people.
Phil Hertel and Mike Dearden, both 23 years old, attended Plattsmouth High School.
Dearden's brother says he was an amazing guy.
Hertel's high school football coach Bob Dzuris says he was a great athlete and good leader. Dzuris says the worst part about coaching is learning not all students will get to grow old.
"The longer we're in the business of educating and mentoring kids, the more chance we have of this happening," Dzuris said.
The pair were taking a lunch break from their painting job Tuesday when a cement truck tipped over, on top of the car they were riding in, killing them instantly.
