OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — With 100-degree temperatures due to hit the area this week, Salvation Army Corps around Omaha are opening cooling centers to help you cool off.
The cooling centers offer air-conditioned spaces and bottled water to help provide relief from the heat. The hours may vary at cooling center locations.
The cooling center locations:
- Burrows Center (Lobby) 6101 NW Radial Hwy, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Kroc Center 2825 Y Street, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Sunday 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
- North Corps 2424 Pratt Street, Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Citadel Corps 3738 Cuming Street, Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
