Omaha Police have arrested a second person in connection to an August 2015 murder.
Preston Pope, 26, was book for first-degree murder in the shooting death of Garion Johnson, 19.
Johnson was shot multiple times on August 8, 2015 near Fontenelle Boulevard and Sorensen Parkway. He was transported to CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center where he later died.
Homicide Detectives booked another suspect in the case on March 1, 2016. Marcus Short, 26, is charged with first-degree murder. Short is currently incarcerated in the Douglas County Department of Corrections and is being held without bond.
