Several injured by overnight gunfire

Two arrested in separate incident

Omaha Police are investigating three separate shooting incidents that left four people injured and two people in jail early Saturday.
 
The first happened near 75th and Crown point just before 2 a.m..  Police were responding to a shots fired call at a social hall when a victim arrived at Immanuel Hospital with a gunshot wound. Shortly after that, two more victims arrived at CHI Creighton. Investigators say details of what actually happened are not clear.  Danisha Davis, Percy Eubanks, and Dante Hill are being treated for injuries that are not life threatening.
 
Approximately half an hour later, an officer responding to a shots fired call near 78th & Keystone heard several shots and saw muzzle flashes coming from the passenger side of a nearby vehicle. With backup from other officers and the police helicopter, police stopped the vehicle at 90th and Spaulding and took the two occupants into custody. Officers booked Brandon Dunkinsel and Taiveon Lewis for unlawful transportation of a firearm and unlawful discharge of a firearm.
 
Then just before 4 a.m. Police were called to the Kum & Go at 82nd and Maple for another shots fired call. While responding, Tylesha Skipper arrived at Immanuel Hospital with a gunshot wound. Skipper told police she was with friends at the convenience store when she believed she was the victim of a theft. While walking back to her vehicle she heard several gunshots and realized she had been hit. Her injuries are not considered life threatening.
