Omaha Police say a shooting left one man injured, though he wasn't taken to the hospital, and then led to an arrest for drugs.
The shooting happened around 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 20 near 18th and M streets.
Police say officers found 25-year-old Demarcus Tate suffering from a gunshot wound, though it was not life-threatening.
Investigators say Tate didn't want to take an ambulance to the hospital and refused to tell officers what happened.
Police say Juan Rubio Jr., 23, who was suspected of being involved in a disturbance with Tate before the shooting, returned to the scene and was taken into custody.
He was taken to police headquarters for questioning and later booked into jail for possession of a controlled substance, according to police.
Investigators are still looking for the shooting suspects.
