It is out with the old and in with the new at Omaha's downtown arena.
On Tuesday morning, crews began work to remove the CenturyLink Center name from the building.
As of Sept. 1, the arena was officially known as the CHI Health Center Omaha and some residents say the change may take some getting used to.
"When I hear CHI Health Center it makes me think of a health center, not an event center," one Omaha resident said.
Earlier in the summer, it was announced the Denver-based health system acquired the naming rights. The company will retain them for 20 years.
For the rest of the week, traffic is expected to be one lane northbound on 10th Street between Capitol and Cass.
