Crews could be seen searching ditches in Saline County Thursday, near the place where Sydney Loofe's phone last pinged.
Her funeral services have been scheduled for Monday in her hometown of Neligh. A candlelight vigil for Loofe will also take place in Lincoln Saturday evening at the Sunken Gardens.
Law enforcement could be seen with equipment and dogs scouring the brush along State Highway 41 just outside of Wilber around 1 p.m.
At last check, Bailey Boswell and Aubrey Trail remain jailed in Saline County. Trail and Boswell, named persons of interest in the investigation, live about a mile away from the search site. Boswell said on social media she had taken Loofe to the home during their second date the night before family reported Loofe missing.
State Highway 41 is along the route to the location where law enforcement say Loofe's body was found Monday. According to the FBI, searching has wrapped up in Clay County for now.
