OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Omaha Riverfront Project officials released this update of the work at Heartland of America Park.
They say crews are trucking in 200 loads of dirt every day to bring the area up. That's in addition to makeover work being done at Gene Leahy Mall.
As you can see, it's now been raised to street level with only two old buildings, two large trees and the iconic slides remaining.
