On one of the biggest travel days of the year, snow has been falling in the Omaha metro since around midnight and our team is out tracking the storm Sunday.
Headed to airport along I-80EB - roads are wet but pretty clear. We’ve seen several city plow trucks treating roads in both directions of I-80. @3NewsNowOmaha pic.twitter.com/AxRONyBRFB

Snow starting to stick on right lane of westbound I-80. All other lanes are wet but not too icy yet. Winds one of the biggest issues. @3NewsNowOmaha pic.twitter.com/5z2gGeONLm

Plows continuously passing through Abbott Drive and terminals at Eppley Airfield. Wet roads but snow not sticking, which is good for those heading to airport on this busy travel day. @3NewsNowOmaha pic.twitter.com/cJW3zN2v5z

.@NDOTomaha has blades down for snow in some places, still dropping sand. Some interstate lanes are covered in snow and winds are big factor. @3NewsNowOmaha pic.twitter.com/7CsuAB0i0x

Snow is beginning to taper off in the #Omaha Metro but it's still coming down south of I-80. Visibility is improving from north to south. However, the wind is kicking up with gusts over 50 mph. @3NewsNowOmaha #newx #iawx pic.twitter.com/Qi0IiW2zLA
