SALINE COUNTY, NEB. (KMTV) — A two-week trial has been scheduled for Bailey Boswell, one of two people accused of killing and dismembering 24-year-old Sydney Loofe in 2017.
Saline County District Judge Vicky Johnson scheduled the trial for Oct. 15, lasting until Nov. 1. Boswell, 25, and her 52-year-old boyfriend, Aubrey Trail, both face the death penalty if convicted.
Loofe and Boswell arranged to meet using the dating app Tinder in the fall of 2017. Boswell and Trail allegedly lured Loofe into an apartment they shared in Wilber, Nebraska -- she then disappeared on Nov. 15, 2017.
Her remains were found on Dec. 4 and 5 in plastic bags around a rural area in Edgar, Nebraska.
Trail's trial date is scheduled for June 17.
