OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) says two suspects have been arrested in relation to an alleged murder.

Marcus Winston, 34, and Nathaniel Love, 25, were arrested after the two men allegedly worked together to kill Timothy Montgomery. Lincoln Police and Fire were dispatched around 2 a.m. to a residence of the 800 block of G Street in response to a man injured by gunfire.

Love was transported for injuries and was released. After his release, police determined Love was connected to the murder of Montgomery.

Police say only one person is responsible for the shooting based on video evidence. Winston has been charged with first-degree murder and use of a firearm to commit a felony, and Love has been charged with accessory to first-degree murder.
