Update 4/18/2017: Omaha Police have identified the toddler as Ma'Laya Buie, age 17 months.
4/17/2017: Omaha Police are investigating after a toddler was shot at an apartment complex near 103rd and Hamilton.
Police say the young girl is about one and a half years old and has life threatening injures from a gunshot wound. It is unclear if the shooting was an accident.
The young girl was taken to Children hospital by a private vehicle around 3:40pm Monday afternoon.
