Search teams have resumed recovery efforts for a missing 17 year old boy who disappeared in the Missouri River Thursday evening.
Police say he was with his aunt and four cousins north of NP Dodge Park around 7:30 p.m. when he went under the water. A boater who called 911 tells KMTV that the woman tried to help the teen but began struggling herself.
Crews from the Omaha Police Department, Omaha Fire Department, Douglas County Sheriff's Office and Pottawatamie County Sheriff's Office helped with the rescue which then turned into a recovery.
