UNO Political Science Professor Paul Landow said Pence is selling President Trump's agenda ahead of the midterms.
"The midterm election will tell us everything we need to know about how the country feels about president Trump primarily and whether they take that out on incumbent members of Congress or whether they support incumbent members of Congress," he said.
Pence will make a stop in Omaha to campaign for Nebraska Rep. Don Bacon later this year.
The midterm election is on Nov. 6. The Nebraska primary is May 15.
