Niche has just released their new2017 Best Places to Live rankings. The rankings are determined by looking at over 15,000 towns and 228 cities accross the country. The best places to live are based on the categories of crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities, and local amenities. And the best place to live in Nebraska is (drum roll please) ....Papillion.
According to Niche's 2017 ranking, the top five best places to live in Nebraska are:

- La Vista
- Lincoln
- Omaha
- York
