OMAHA, NE — No one will argue that Omaha has a LOT of restaurants. And many of them are unique and locally-owned.
Tim and Lisa Trudell are local bloggers known asThe Walking Tourists.
Last year they wrote a book called 100 Things To Do in Omaha Before You Die.
Now they turn their attention to Omaha's food scene with a new book called Unique Eats and Eateries of Omaha.
The book focuses in on 91 restaurants and food-oriented establishments in metro Omaha, delving in to the story of each one of them.
The authors sat down at Hardy Coffee with 3 News Now News Director Geoff Roth to talk about the book and Omaha's diverse food scene.
