A fire is out after smoke filled a home in West Omaha Monday afternoon near 186th and West Center, just after 3 p.m.
Fire crews said work on a nearby sprinkler system is to blame for the flames.
One woman was in the house and said she was working on the computer when she smelled something. She said she found smoke in the basement that quickly began to fill the home.
She let her dog out and called 911.
The family tells KMTV Action 3 News reporter Nick Starling that due to the smoke damage they will have to find another place to stay tonight.
