ONE AREA HIGH SCHOOL PAID TRIBUTE TO ITS CLASS OF 2020 THIS WEEKEND THANKS TO AN UNUSUAL CEREMONY. — One area high school paid tribute to its class of 2020 this weekend thanks to an unusual ceremony.
Graduates finally got to March to Pomp and Circumstance at a proper social distance. The school moved this special ceremony outside at Phelps Field in front of a handful or teachers and family members.
Songs and speeches were pre-recorded and broadcast on local cable and online.
The school district tweeted out this show of school board members and teachers braving the 100 degree heat for six hours, sayingd "they wouldn't trade this for the world."
