OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Hundreds of Nebraska Medicine and UNMC staff members, doctors, faculty and students showed support for the White Coats 4 Black Lives movement.
At noon Friday, everyone knelt in silence outside the Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center at Nebraska Medicine for nearly 10 minutes to not only honor George Floyd but show their commitment to improving the health and safety of the Black community.
Similar demonstrations took place across the nation.
