Omaha Police arrested a woman for allegedly stabbing and killing her roommate late Monday evening.

Investigators believe Darlene Endsley, 58, attacked Angela Parks, 60, inside a north Omaha boarding house near 30th and Pinkney streets.

Neighbors and friends who knew the women tell KMTV the relationship was contentious, prompting police to often go to the home for disturbance calls  while they lived together

On Apr. 22, Endsley took a protection order against Parks, writing the 60-year-old hit her with a frying pan on the face and purposely tripped her due to Endsley having poor vision.

The victim was known for intimidating others, says Michael Foxworth, a friend and whose brother owns the boarding house.

"It doesn't surprise me at all,” Foxworth says. “I just figured something bad was going to happen in the household.”

Investigators say Endsley stabbed Parks multiple times in her upper body.

When police arrived they found the victim unresponsive and rushed her to a nearby hospital where she later died.

Endsley is booked at Douglas County Corrections for criminal homicide and use of weapon to commit a felony.
