A meeting that has previously only been accessible to shareholders will now be available to the public.
The Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholders meeting, which is scheduled for April 30 in Omaha, will be broadcast on Yahoo Finance.

The live stream will begin at 9 a.m. from the CenturyLink Center Omaha, with the meeting starting 30 minutes later.
“Over the past 50 years, we’ve seen a tremendous increase in the interest around our shareholders meeting. Partnering with Yahoo Finance provides us with the opportunity to reach more people than ever, in key financial centers around the world, from New York to China and beyond,” Warren Buffett said in a prepared statement Tuesday.
Yahoo Finance Editor in Chief Andy Serwer called the meeting the “Woodstock of Capitalism.”
The shareholder meeting means a weekend of activities in Omaha. It starts with a shopping day on Friday, which includes a reception at Borsheims.
Saturday’s schedule is filled with the actual meeting’s question and answer period, following by a picnic at Nebraska Furniture Mart.
Shareholder Steak Night is Sunday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Gorat’s Steakhouse.
Yahoo Finance also plans to provide highlights from visits to Gorat’s, Borsheims and Nebraska Furniture Mart.
