OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — This week's Mission: Service award recipient is Omaha Police officer Chad Schmigel.

Schmigel served more than eight years with the Navy and was deployed three times.

He earned the Navy and Marine Corps achievement medal for deployment efforts during his service.
