KANSAS CITY, Mo.  A Kansas City woman claims she is the victim of racial profiling after she was told to leave a bar and restaurant after she asked questions about the restaurant policy.

Xzaviera Vaqua recorded the incident and posted it to Facebook, where it's since been shared more than 1,500 times.

Vaqua says she went to Tomfooleries Restaurant & Bar on Thursday night, and was told she needed to provide a credit card up front to open a tab. She says she asked if she could pay cash up front for her meal.

According to Vaqua, the waitress said she needed to ask her manager. Vaqua began recording on her cell phone as soon as the manager approached her table.

"It immediately went wrong," she said.

In the video, Vaqua asks why she can't pay with cash up front.

"You know what, we're done. Go ahead and go," the manager, who identifies himself as Preston, said.

When Vaqua goes on to ask why she has to leave, the manager uses curse words, saying he doesn't have to explain anything to her.

She eventually left Tomfooleries.

"Nobody should feel that way. I felt horrible. I was disrespected. I was embarrassed. I couldn't believe I got treated like that," Vaqua said of the incident.

In a phone call Sunday night, Tomfooleries owner Barton Bloom said, "the problem has been taken care of."

Vaqua said the owner called her and said the manager in the video has been fired. She still plans to organize a boycott of the restaurant and says she's considering legal action.
