NFL wide receiver Terrelle Pryor stabbed in Pittsburgh

Former Cleveland Browns wide receiver and Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor was stabbed at an apartment complex in Pittsburgh.

Pryor, 30, was stabbed at the Heinz Lofts apartment complex overnight, according to ABC affiliate WTAE.

The NFL wide receiver is in critical condition, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

A woman is in custody in connection with the stabbing, according to WTAE.

Pryor was the starting quarterback for the Buckeyes from 2008 to 2010, winning the Big Ten championship twice.

After being drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the 2011 NFL Supplemental Draft, Pryor spent time on several teams before converting to a wide receiver in 2015 after being claimed off waivers by the Browns.

The Jeannette, Pennsylvania, native recorded 1,049 receiving yards for four touchdowns in his two seasons with the Browns. He signed with the Washington Redskins in 2017 and later spent time with the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Pryor is currently a free agent.
