Two days after police officers in Lexington, Kentucky, mourned the loss of a Krispy Kreme doughnut truck, Krispy Kreme delivered fresh doughnuts to officers from the Lexington Police Department.

On Monday, Lexington Police shared photos of its officers shedding a tear in front of the burned-out Krispy Kreme truck. The post, which had the caption “No Words,” quickly went viral.

According to WLEX-TV , Krispy Kreme arrived at the police department on Wednesday with fresh doughnuts.

“Once we confirmed no one was in there, we thought we need to save these doughnuts,” Officer Kyle Mounce told WLEX. The viral social media post “came about as just a share with some of our coworkers, just to get a laugh from some of them. And it has blown up from there.”
