The lions of South Africa’s Kruger National Park are taking full advantage of the lack of visitors these days.

Section Ranger Richard Sowry snapped photos of a lion pride sleeping along the asphalt road near Orpen Rest Camp, the national park posted on Twitter earlier this week.

“This lion pride are usually resident on Kempiana Contractual Park, an area Kruger tourists do not see,” the post said.

According to CNN, the national park is normally full of tourists, but it has been closed since the end of March amid the country’s coronavirus lockdown.
