The College World Series fan fest and opening ceremony kicks off Friday, but KMTV can't wait until then. We got a sneak peak Thursday at the happenings behind the scenes.
With the scorching sun and hot days here to stay, the new change of a bungalow might be something the uber fan faint of heat would prefer to tail gate in.
Game Day productions out of Atlanta has brought up three bungalow style tiny houses for 2500 a session tailgating. The homes, complete with astroturf, two patios, and four televisions (with one in the bathroom) are air conditioned and fit twelve people.
The larger than life new highlight includes a family area run by MECA, full of food trucks, and a ferris wheel. The "giant Wheel" has been to Cochella and South by Southwest. Now for 5 bucks a pop, you can ride
We got a special ride with owner Mike Doolan. As we began to climb, you can't help but take a beat, enjoy the ride, and take in the awesome views.
"It's a very smooth relaxing ride, and yyou're looking at the stadium one minute, the skyline the next, and what's happening on the ground the next revolution around," Doolan said.
Fan fest returns this year with tons of options, autograph, and baseball skills sessions.
