The Indiana Hoosiers come back for the 2016 season after losing a couple of key components to its offense, but also returning eight starters, three of which are on the offensive line. The Hoosier's offense also returns it's top three wide receiver targets.
Defensively, the Hoosiers return four starters in the secondary and eight starters overall. The Hoosiers will look to improve a pass defense that gave up at least 240 yards in every game except for three.
Key Returners
Safety Jonathan Crawford
Running back Devine Redding
Linebacker T.J. Simmons
Key Losses
Quarterback Nate Sudfeld
Running back Jordan Howard
Offensive Tackle Jordan Spriggs
Trying to replace the quarterback, running back, and offensive tackle position will be a task that Kevin Wilson and his staff will need to address immediately in order to improve from a seven-loss season last year.
However, Indiana's offense came in ranked 14th in the nation last season and if running back Devine Redding can fill the shoes left behind, Indiana could be in good shape.
