Play on the field at the College World Series has been hampered by rain, but off it, business owners in the area say it has not hampered their sales.
"Two best during the College World Series are rain delay," Lefty's Bar owner Kevin Culjat said. "Those doors open at 9 o'clock and we stay steady all day."
Some vendors in the area also said with some taking shelter in the large tents, they look at more merchandise and buy more.
In the Old Market, Connie Harden of Cupcake Omaha says the area hasn't seen what they normally would with rain, but they are not suffering because there's plenty of people in the area eating dinner.
