Game twelve of the 2016 College World Series featured the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers against the TCU Horned Frogs. After the Chants finished their handshake, the action on the field was underway.

Coastal Carolina plated two runs in the third inning. One on an RBI single, and another on a sac fly.

Through five innings, Coastal Carolina starting pitcher Andrew Beckwith was feeling it.

David Parrett pushed the Chants lead to 4-0 in the top of the seventh after an RBI double.

Dane Steinhagen hit a rare College World Series homer to cut the Chanticleers lead to 4-1 int he bottom of the eighth.

In the end, Beckwith was too much for TCU. CCU forces a Saturday night game behind a complete game from Beckwith.
