How they got there: Texas Tech swept its way through the Regional round with a win over New Mexico State (9-2) and back-to-back wins over Louisville (10-4, 11-6).
The Red Raiders then faced off against Duke in the Super Regionals. Texas Tech took game one 6-4, but the Blue Devils came ready to play in game two, shelling the Red Raiders 11-2. Texas Tech rallied to win game three 11-6 to punch their ticket to Omaha.
History: Texas Tech made its first ever appearance in the College World Series in 2014, and is making its third ever appearance this year. The Red Raiders will be in search of their first CWS title.
Who to watch for: Senior Zach Reams leads the team in home runs with 17 this season to go along with a .349 batting average and 54 RBI.
When they play: Texas Tech will face off against defending National Champs Florida Sunday at 6 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
