The Creighton baseball team entered the top of the ninth inning against Georgetown Saturday afternoon trailing 9-5. Then, the Bluejays rattled off six runs, good enough for an 11-9 win over the Hoyas that gave CU a weekend sweep of Georgetown.
And senior third baseman, Bryce Only, had a huge day at the plate for Creighton. Only went 4-for-5 with a home run and 5 RBI's, including the game-winning two-RBI single with the bases loaded in the top of the ninth.
The victory extends Creighton's season-best winning streak to six games. The Bluejays improve to 14-16 overall this season and 5-1 in Big East play.
