The Creighton men's basketball team hosted Alcorn State for its second game of the regular season.
Sunday's game against Alcorn State was the the second of four contest the Bluejays will play during the Hall of Fame Classic. Creighton will finish the classic with games against UCLA Nov. 20th and Baylor/Wisconsin Nov. 21st.
The Braves were first on the scoreboard but the Bluejays quickly fought back taking a 7-5 lead. Creighton held the lead the remainder of the first half but let Alcorn State come within two points halfway through the first half.
The Bluejays closed the first half with a 49-36 lead.
Creighton took control of the game taking a 71-45 lead just seven minutes into the second half. Nearing the end of the game Ronnie Harrell Jr. sank a pair of free throws to give the Bluejays 100-63.
Bluejays' Marcus Foster led Creighton to a 109-72 victory with 23 points.
Three other Bluejays finished in the double-figures, Mitch Ballock finished with 15 points while Kaleb Joseph and Ty-Shon Alexander each scored 10 points on the night.
