Creighton basketball led for most of the game, but couldn't hold on down the stretch as the Jays fell 90-84 to No. 23 Seton Hall in their BIG EAST Conference opener.
Seton Hall's Angel Delgado and Desi Rodriguez played a big hand in the Pirates' win, as Delgado finished with 18 points and 14 rebounds and Rodriguez with 23 points and 4 rebounds.
The Jays had a turnover issue down the stretch and Seton Hall continuously capitalized, finishing with 22 points off turnovers to Creighton's 9.
Four players finished in double-digits for Creighton with Martin Krampelj (23 pts.), Marcus Foster (14 pts.), Khyri Thomas (13 pts.) and Davion Mintz (10 pts.).
