Nebraska and Creighton had a showdown for the ages in Centurylink Center Omaha, but ultimately the Jays outlasted the Huskers 75-65.

Marcus Foster hit a deep three pointer with just over 30 seconds left to seal the game. Foster finished with 19 points, seven rebounds and two assists, with four other Jays scoring double-digit points.

Isaac Copeland had a monster game for Nebraska, putting up 20 points and grabbing 11 rebounds while playing well on the defensive end.

The Huskers jumped out to a 33-28 lead at the half despite being in foul trouble early. Nebraska held Creighton to just two three pointers in the first half.

But the Jays played well down the stretch, shooting 50 percent from the field in the game.

Creighton improves to 7-2 on the season while Nebraska falls to 7-4. Up next for Creighton is a home matchup with Maryland Eastern Shore Friday at 7 p.m.

Things don't get much easier for the Huskers as they'll play host to Kansas next Saturday at 7 p.m.
