In the college basketball corruption trial, parent Brian Bowen Sr. again mentioned Creighton basketball while under oath discussing his son Brian Bowen Jr.'s recruitment.
Mr. Bowen testified that Creighton's offer included 100-thousand dollars and "two high paying jobs" for his son and his son's girlfriend.
Creighton's president, Reverend Daniel S. Hendrickson, released a video statement regarding the allegations Tuesday afternoon.
"Please be assured that this current matter is being taken very seriously by me and other university leaders," Hendrickson said. "Unethical conduct in our programs will never be tolerated and we will fully cooperated with any agency that contacts Creighton in the future."
This statement comes less than one week after Bowen Sr. mentioned Creighton in testimony while discussing payments to his son made by basketball programs.
Creighton Athletic did not release another statement Tuesday.
