A pair of Nebraska baseball players were awarded for their 2016 seasons on Wednesday. Chad Luensmann was named a Freshman All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), and Scott Schreiber earned second-team Midwest All-Region accolades from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).
